About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join their expanding Pharmacy Department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to work across a range of hospital wards and outpatient specialty areas including dialysis, chemotherapy and urgent care. The position is available from ASAP for a 4-6 month contract, with potential to extend. What's on Offer Competitive pay: $60-$70/hr super (commensurate with experience) Full-time, 80 hours per fortnight | Flexible work hours Accommodation provided and capped travel reimbursement ($200) Experience a supportive, multidisciplinary hospital environment Potential to extend beyond initial contract period Key Responsibilities Deliver ward-based clinical pharmacy services across acute, subacute, and outpatient areas Perform medication reconciliation, patient counselling and discharge planning Review treatment plans, supply chemotherapy and provide medicines information Assist in the management of the hospital formulary, including restricted and specialised substances Support medication safety, antimicrobial stewardship and quality improvement initiatives Provide education to patients and staff to promote safe and effective medicine use What You'll Need Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) Hospital pharmacy experience (minimum 2 years; 5 years preferred for Grade 3) Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of drug interactions, therapy management and patient counselling Excellent communication and teamwork skills Current Police Check, Working With Children Check and vaccination compliance Desirable Postgraduate qualifications in pharmacy or health-related field Membership with Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) Previous oncology or clinical trials experience Why Join Us?
